That’s right peeps D1NZ is holding its end of year awards dinner to give back to the drivers, supporters and fans for some well deserved awards, So make sure you witness the first ever D1NZ Awards Dinner to be held in Auckland on Saturday October 3rd at North Harbour Stadium, Albany.
This will be a great tribute to everybody involved with a buffet dinner, drinks, awards, the Grand Final of the 2009 Model Search – (lingerie edition) visual presentations plus loads more with a few surprises included…
DON’T MISS OUT! This is strictly limited to 40 tables so be in quick! 15 have gone already!

The Awards Dinner Information
Official Awards Dinner – October 3rd
North Harbor Stadium
Albany (commence 6.30pm; conclude 10.30-11.00pm)
Tickets are $65.00 per head or $650.00 for a table of 10 (includes buffet dinner and free drinks for one hour)
This is a formal event - black tie and evening wear are requested – feel free to get fruity with it and mix it up a bit in true drift style
The Official After Party – Backyard Bar, Takapuna (party buses to take participants from North Harbour Stadium to after party venue)
The Backyard Bar is located next to the historic Poenamo Hotel which have plenty of parking and rooms available for out of town guests.
We recommend if you’re coming from out of town to book a room ASAP for your convenience.

D1NZ resident DJ Scissor hands will be mixing it up and Ned Roy will be banging it out on the 1's and 2's afterwards

That’s sort of what we are aiming for here, if there is enough posts for a particular driver on an award then we would strongly consider awarding that driver the award - and of course with peoples input it will help us make the decision on other awards too so DON’T BE SHY – post up your suggestions on people for the awards !!  |

Hey guys what an awesome night to celebrate a hard year’s end, congratulations to all that won trophies, definitely some hard calls to make as the level is always rising. A full report will be up on D1NZ’s main page in the next 24hours so stay tuned for photos.

Had a great night an very happy and suprised at geting awards etc. But trying to get home is proving hard as I am snowed in at taupo and have Ben since yesterday and is no way to get home as there is a gunman blocking my other way home haha . Shot koro!!
Chur to Mike Squires, Sky Zao,Phill Otene, Richie Gray, Nico Reid ,Markus King, Micah & Marnix, Sam in the snef, Vaughn, Ryan, and all the other boys ive met in the last 2 years in the D1NZ Rookie series.
Chur to my pit crew and my girls Erin and Jaxon who i take to every round.
Ive had an ok year considering ive made every round and to only miss out on 1 top 16 all year.
Big thanks to all the D1NZ crew who battled the elements all winter to bring us event after event never letting the weather get the best of them.
Must be hard to do all that work for the love of it.
